About the Role
<h2>BIM Engineer - Architecture</h2><p>The BIM Engineer - Architecture will be responsible for the development, management, and coordination of architectural BIM models across all project stages, from concept design to construction documentation. This role involves translating design intent into accurate digital models, ensuring alignment with project specifications, BIM standards, and client requirements. The candidate will actively collaborate with Structural and MEP teams to ensure fully coordinated and clash-free designs, while supporting drawing production, visualization, and data extraction from BIM models. This position plays a critical role in maintaining model quality, adhering to LOD/LOI requirements, and ensuring efficient information flow within the Common Data Environment (CDE).</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Develop and maintain detailed architectural BIM models using Revit in accordance with project standards and design intent; generate plans, sections, elevations, schedules, and detailed drawings directly from the model; ensure proper use of families, templates, and parametric components to enhance model efficiency and consistency.</li><li>Perform regular QA/QC checks on models and drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design and project requirements; identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions to maintain model integrity.</li><li>Coordinate closely with Structural and MEP disciplines to identify and resolve clashes using tools such as Navisworks; participate in coordination meetings and contribute to issue tracking and resolution workflows; ensure alignment between architectural design and multidisciplinary inputs.</li><li>Manage models and documentation within CDE platforms (BIM 360/ACC); ensure proper version control, file organization, and submission protocols; support information exchange between project disciplines.</li><li>Apply BIM standards including naming conventions, LOD/LOI requirements, and data exchange protocols; ensure compliance with ISO 19650 and project-specific guidelines; maintain consistency in documentation.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering or related field</li><li><strong>Technical Skills:</strong> Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM workflows, drawing production</li><li><strong>Standards:</strong> ISO 19650, BIM standards and protocols, regional codes (SBC, ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.)</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong> 3-5 years in architectural BIM modeling and documentation</li><li><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong> GCC project experience is an advantage; experience in data center or mission-critical facilities, large-scale building or infrastructure projects; advanced BIM modeling and digital delivery</li><li><strong>Soft Skills:</strong> Attention to detail, coordination ability, and strong communication skills</li></ul><h3>Work Arrangements</h3><ul><li>Type: Full-Time</li><li>Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India</li></ul>
