About the Role

<h2>Electromechanical Design Engineer</h2><p>We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Design Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electromechanical product design, particularly in the semiconductor industry. This role requires expertise in various design tools and methodologies, as well as a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead the design and development of electromechanical products.</li><li>Utilize NPD/NPI methodologies to drive product innovation.</li><li>Develop 3D concepts and create detailed 2D drawings.</li><li>Manage engineering changes effectively throughout the design process.</li><li>Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) and ensure compliance with drawing standards.</li><li>Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.</li><li>Conduct tolerance analysis and apply GD&amp;T principles in designs.</li><li>Utilize design software such as UG NX, SAP, ECTR, Windchill, or Teamcenter.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE) is required.</li><li>4-8 years of experience in electromechanical product design.</li><li>Proficiency in UG NX and experience with SAP, ECTR, Windchill, or Teamcenter.</li><li>Strong skills in 3D concept development and 2D drawing creation.</li><li>Knowledge of GD&amp;T and tolerance analysis.</li><li>Experience in engineering change management.</li><li>Good understanding of design and manufacturing processes, particularly in casting.</li></ul><h3>Work Arrangements</h3><ul><li>Contract position with flexible work arrangements.</li><li>Onsite presence may be required based on project needs.</li></ul>
