<h2>Git Platform &amp; Migration Engineer</h2><p>We are seeking a highly skilled <strong>Git Platform &amp; Migration Engineer</strong> with strong expertise in managing Git-based platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in migrating legacy SVN repositories into Git, ensuring seamless version control operations, optimizing workflows, and supporting development teams in adopting modern Git practices.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Administer, configure, and maintain Git-based platforms, including user access, repository setup, branching strategies, and CI/CD integrations.</li><li>Plan, execute, and validate migration of existing SVN repositories into Git, ensuring history preservation and minimal disruption.</li><li>Establish and enforce branching models, code review processes, and repository governance.</li><li>Develop scripts and tools to streamline repository management, migration, and integration tasks.</li><li>Provide guidance and training to developers on Git workflows, resolving conflicts, and optimizing productivity.</li><li>Diagnose and resolve issues related to repositories, merges, CI/CD pipelines, and integrations.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Strong hands-on experience with Git and platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.</li><li>Proven track record of SVN-to-Git migration projects.</li><li>Proficiency in branching strategies (Git Flow, trunk-based development, etc.).</li><li>Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.</li><li>Strong scripting skills (Shell, Python, or similar) for automation.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.</li><li>B.E./B.Tech/MCA with around 6-8 years of experience.</li><li>Experience with large-scale repository management.</li><li>Knowledge of Agile methodologies and collaborative development practices.</li></ul><h3>Work Arrangements</h3><ul><li>Location: Hyderabad</li><li>Type: Contract</li><li>Experience: 6-9 years</li></ul>
