About the Role

<h2>Lab Technician</h2><p>We are seeking a skilled Lab Technician with experience in soldering, troubleshooting, and maintaining lab instruments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PCB and SMD board rework, as well as proficiency in using various lab equipment. This is a contract position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Soldering and desoldering of PCB boards and SMD boards rework packages (0402 and higher).</li><li>Perform troubleshooting of assembled boards.</li><li>Handle equipment such as oscilloscopes, thermal imagers, power meters, and power supplies.</li><li>Assist in lab maintenance and storeroom inventory management.</li><li>Coordinate for instrument repairs and service.</li><li>Assist in preparing setups for events like Devcon, Electronica, and roadshows.</li><li>Maintain lab instruments and perform calibration of instruments.</li><li>Procure components and manage purchasing, including creating components BOM.</li><li>Check components inventory and maintain stock.</li><li>Load or program software using Renesas flash programming tool for Renesas MCUs (E1 Emulator).</li><li>Test the board after software loading as per requirements.</li><li>Create ORCAD schematics parts.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Experience as a Lab Technician with a focus on PCB and SMD board work.</li><li>Proficiency in using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and thermal imagers.</li><li>Knowledge of software loading and programming for Renesas MCUs.</li><li>Familiarity with ORCAD for schematic creation.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills.</li><li>Ability to manage inventory and procurement processes.</li></ul><h3>Work Arrangements</h3><ul><li>Type: Contract</li><li>Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India</li></ul>
