About the Role
<h2>Product Engineer</h2><p>We are seeking a dedicated Product Engineer to drive new product development from the design stage to high-volume production. This role requires a strong background in semiconductor product engineering and a passion for innovation and quality.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Drive new product development from design stage to high-volume production.</li><li>Manage timelines, product performance analysis, and data sheet compliance matrix through all rounds of design optimization, customer sampling, and production release.</li><li>Utilize data processing tools such as JMP, Exensio, O+, Data Power, and Excel to calculate CPK, identify outliers, and set limits and guard bands based on statistics.</li><li>Participate in 1st Si debug, yield, and test time improvement, collaborating closely with test and design engineers to release products to full production.</li><li>Run cross-functional meetings with project team members across time zones and sites.</li><li>Manage customer returns and RMA process, driving timely closure.</li><li>Define product validation requirements by working with cross-functional teams, including design, DFT, and test engineers to translate concepts into tests.</li><li>Collaborate with test engineers to develop effective and efficient manufacturing tests on ATE for mass production.</li><li>Drive MP readiness with multiple engineering and operation teams.</li><li>Participate in yield analysis and drive necessary improvement actions on silicon processes, setting optimization, and testing robustness to improve yield to target.</li><li>Work with reliability engineers to achieve successful product qualifications based on JEDEC and AECQ100 standards.</li><li>Provide failure analysis support for customer-returned issues.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>BE/B.Tech degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.</li><li>1 to 8 years of semiconductor product engineering experience.</li><li>Experience working with CMOS ASIC Design, Test, Foundry, and Production teams.</li><li>Strong track record of ASIC design from concept to mass production and EOL.</li><li>Deep understanding of statistical data analysis and proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel VBA, Spotfire, O+, JMP, and Galaxy.</li><li>Basic to advanced knowledge of ATE Tester; V93K experience is preferred.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem-solve and debug systems, circuits, and devices.</li><li>Experience in product coordination, yield improvement, and test time reduction.</li><li>Working knowledge of semiconductor quality and automotive standard process control.</li><li>Hands-on experience with production and characterization data collection at wafer and package levels.</li><li>Experience working in production test floors, bench instruments, and ATE is a plus.</li><li>Experience with probers and handlers is a plus.</li></ul><h3>Work Arrangements</h3><ul><li>Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India</li><li>Type: Contract</li><li>Experience: 2 to 15 years</li></ul>
