<h2>Python Automation Test Engineer</h2><p>We are seeking a skilled <strong>Python Automation Test Engineer</strong> to join our team at HCL Technologies, working under Cadmaxx Solutions Pvt Ltd. This role focuses on Android-based UI automation, requiring a strong proficiency in Python and experience with the Appium testing framework. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of automated testing processes and a collaborative approach to agile methodologies.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Develop and execute automated test cases primarily in Python.</li><li>Port existing test cases or create new ones in Kotlin as needed.</li><li>Utilize the Appium testing framework for end-to-end testing of Android-based UIs.</li><li>Work with tools such as Git, Jira, Polarion, and Artifactory.</li><li>Learn and efficiently use proprietary tooling provided by e.solutions.</li><li>Design, develop, and execute automated test cases that meet e.solutions? standards.</li><li>Debug and report defects uncovered during testing.</li><li>Participate in agile sprint cycles and collaborative planning sessions.</li><li>Document all test cases developed or ported, providing clear technical documentation.</li><li>Record and report detailed results of test run executions, including logs and defect findings.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Proficiency in Python is mandatory.</li><li>Familiarity with Kotlin is desirable.</li><li>Strong experience with the Appium testing framework.</li><li>Experience with Git, Jira, Polarion, and Artifactory.</li><li>Strong debugging skills.</li><li>Experience working in agile environments.</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English.</li><li>Any degree is acceptable.</li></ul><h3>Work Arrangements</h3><ul><li>Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India.</li><li>Type: Contract.</li><li>Remote work options are not specified.</li></ul>
